Ajeeta comes from a family which has strong traditional values and believes in living in the most natural way. In India yoga and ayurveda plays a very important role in day to day's life.
Since childhood Ajeeta practiced yoga along with her parents every morning. In the school she was appreciated by yoga teachers for performing the yogasnas with great ease.
Once she got married and came to live in Switzerland she continued her healthy way of life by practicing yoga and giving importance to healthy food. She also introduced these healthy habits to her children at early age and they enjoy to do it.
She often shared her experiences with people around who found it interesting. She met some people who had same passion and interests in how we can make our mental and physical state better, which led her to Elaneha.
It happened to be the great opportunity for Ajeeta to share her experience and her knowledge with people who may have same interests as hers.
Born and raised in Tennessee, Bill Holden first learned to play music with the high school marching band. While at the university, he started playing professionally, gaining experience in different repertories while being able to pay for for his tuition.
With a B.S. in history and music in hand coupled with a few years of " on the road " playing experience, Bill left the U.S. to work as a teacher in Morocco where he lived for 3 years. His assimilation of Moroccan dialect Arabic as well as the discovery of the richness of North African culture became the stepping stones for his voyage around then to the North of the Mediterranean Basin.
Thanks to chance (choice !) encounters with different musicians and teachers in Switzerland, Bill's professional orientation took a definitive direction in music, as an art form, as a pedagogical approach. His curiosity led him to the realm of alternative teaching methodes as well as the use of sound objects, specifically those made from salvaged materials from daily life. His quest implied experimentation which in turn gave birth to La Sonorie, his creative music workshop based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
Over the years, Bill's "method" has attracted the attention of different institutions, from nursery schools to university level centers for advanced training. His pragmatic yet creative approach to the use of sounds in creating music has been acknowledged repeatedly by those who have participated in one or more of his workshop courses.
Parallel to his pedagogical activities, Bill continues to play music professionally, and as of this writing he is a trompettist in the Geneva based ensemble FanfareduLoup Orchestra.
He was born on the sunny shores of Portugal in 1973. Ever since he remembers he has been a calm person, enjoying silence and nature. Although he was already very interested by spiritual matters in his late teens, he graduated from university with a degree in computer science. Soon after completing his studies, reading frantically dozens of books, he started slowly but surely to actively study and practice yoga and Reiki.
Between 2003 and 20005, Nuno Miguel completed the 3 levels of Reiki certification. And one day, his path crossed someone who practiced ayurveda. He knew he had found his true calling; he completed an ayurveda massage certification and practiced ever since.
And thus started his wonderful journey as an ayurvedic masseur therapist that brought him to Elaneha.
She is the one who dreamed, long time ago, of a place full of life, where people - small or tall, square or round, green or blue, would indulge themselves with pleasure. Roundness, colors, softness, intensity, sounds and scents, silence and laughter, fluidity, honey and spices, openness, body, mind and soul are aligned.
One certainty: that the dream would unfold...perhaps!
Indeed, the dream was far too deep to be confined to the rigor of a plan. She wanted it to unfold, open to capture coincidences. So, Brigitte keeps doing what she likes, notably traveling for real and in her mind, having a keen interest in questions rather than answers, observing, telling stories, encountering radiant beauty and laughing. And then, one year ago, a big red house speaks to her. She replies: Elaneha is born.
For those people more interested in conform descriptions: Brigitte is born is Switzerland, daughter of earth who loves the sea. She lives and studies in the States for a few years, comes back to Switzerland and works for a multinational, in Marketing, then in management development. She travels often to Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Curious about the whole, about life, she is interested in many topics. For example, she discovers ayurveda - in books! - 15 years ago, reads about quantum physics and organisations, leadership and likes Calvin & Hobbes. The silver thread? All is connected.
Nathalie
Nathalie always enjoyed reading and learning. When she was still a little girl, she observed with great attention people's behaviors.
In line with her likings, she enrolls in a paramedical school and completes her nurse degree in 2003.
As she cares for patients at the hospital, she realizes that our medical system raises more questions than it provides answers. For Nathalie, this medicine isn't really holistic. So when she discovers yoga, it's a revelation which turned into a passion.
During her 2 consecutive pregnancies, Nathalie practices asanas, pranayamas and mudras. She very rapidly feels the benefits and decides to study hard to become a certified Hata-Yoga teacher.
Her aim is to guide her "students" to reach radiant health. Regular yoga practice indeed fosters flexibility and tonicity, fills us with vitality and soothens the mind.
Nathalie is eager to share her knowledge and passion at Elaneha.
Sangeeta
Sangeeta belongs to a very spiritual oriented family who follow Vedic traditions. She grew in a very simple and peaceful environment. In her childhood she spent most of her time with her grandparents near the Ganga river , observing and learning Vedic rituals and traditions in a most spiritual atmosphere.
At the age of 18 she decided to study Ayurvedic medicine from the Delhi University, which made her learn that Ayurveda is not only a system of Healing but an entire way of life that aims to bring about the perfect balance of the entire personality - body, mind and spirit.
After getting married she started living in France for 16 years, she observed the lifestyle in the West and wanted to integrate her experience of Ayurveda.
While travelling in Europe she started giving Ayurvedic consultations which gradually led her to Elaneha to share her experience with the world.
